Do canadian students need to learn french in high school?

   Students should learn french in high school, but only if they choose to. After grade 9 they should be able to decide weither or not they would like to continue with that course. Some of the jobs that students are aiming for don't require french. So if students where suppost to take that course it would stop them for actually choosing course that would help them to achive their goals(jobs Etc). So overall students should always get to choose weither or not they would like to continue with the course after grade 9.
